Resource Coordinator

Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Resource Coordinator to join our team in Grimsby, this position is a full time, 36 hour week however, start and finish times have some flexibility. Being part of the CWind Resourcing Team you will be managing the day-to-day crew manning service activities for the CWind Projects and vessels including but not limited to:
 

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Arrange and coordinate travelling arrangements for CWind Offshore personnel in liaison with our third party marine travel agency and the Project Manager

  • Verification of crew qualifications/documentation

  • Verification of personal references

  • Keep in contact with personnel on vacation as relevant, monitoring of crew P&I and or medical claim documentation

  • Update the crewing files, rotas and office computer records as relevant

  • Application of crew visas as required, handling of flag required certificates

  • Responsible for maintaining updated vessel rotation plans and execution of agreed crewing strategies

  • Responsible for providing all necessary documents to payroll before the 16th of each Month

  • In partnership with the Project Manager, recruit vessel based contractors and ensuring all compliance checks are completed

  • Responsible for maintaining company records for all seafarers from crew manning pool under responsibility

  • Handle all documentation, administration and deployment of crew

  • Sound knowledge of STCW, MLC  and relevant international manning, and flag state requirements

  • Follow up of mandatory certificates renewal, medical follow up, pre-assignment / post-assignment briefings

  • Other crew matters as directed by the Offshore Resource Manager

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent administrative organisational skills

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in Crew Manning services

  • Fluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking)

  • Computer literate proficient in MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Adobe Reader

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels and backgrounds

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • Ability to travel at short notice

  • Ability to work flexibly - Due to the dynamic nature of the business, longer hours may be required occasionally

 
 
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma in Crew Management
  • CIPD Level 3
