Job Description

Purpose:  By partnering dedicated areas of the business, ensure that HR policy and practice are compliant with legislation, aligned to company strategy and actively support the development and reward and retention for business.

Key Deliverables:

  • Take a proactive leading role in the strategic approach to HR management, ensuring alignment to GMG strategies and operational plans
  • Provide full business partner support to allocated departments throughout the employee life cycle
  • Development, project management and implementation of organisational change strategies
  • Support and manage reporting
  • Encourage and support organisational development improvement and practice
  • Design, implementation and on-going management of effective reward practices
  • Develop appropriate compliant HR policies and standards to ensure effective and equitable management of staff throughout the organisation and provide advice on such policies
  • Management and upkeep of Databases: Recruitment, Payroll, Pensions and Benefits
  • Work on specific ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as directed by the Director, HR
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • CIPD qualified (or studying towards)
  • Experience of implementing strategic HR change initiatives (i.e. Restructures, TUPE, A&M)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised
  • Ability and willingness to travel to company locations for on-site meetings
  • Positive attitude with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Strong focus on teamwork and technology
  • Logical approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Motivated to succeed
