Job Description

Purpose: This role will be part of the Accounts Payable team - to be responsible for supplier invoices processing and keeping supplier ledgers up to date and reconciled.


Key Deliverables:

 Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Support

  • Processing AP invoices on a timely manner and maintain the Mailbox up to date
  • Maintain the supplier ledger accounts reconciled and up to date
  • Help the AP team on team weekly rotas
  • Assisting with the implementation of new projects and developments in the payables area
  • Ad-hoc or supplementary duties or other duties not defined in this Job Description at various times as requested by the Company in order to ensure the smooth running of the department, or during periods of sickness, holiday or high volume of work. Also on some occasions, can be requested to provide service outside your normal working hours but these requests will not be unreasonable

Qualifications, Skills and Experience


  • Thorough knowledge of all areas of purchase ledger
  • Experience in a multi-currency environment
  • Attention to detail

  • Works well within a team or on an individual basis
  • Excellent communication skills



  • Knowledge of IFS
  • Knowledge of UK / foreign VAT
