Job Description

Key Deliverables:

·         Responsible for timely and accurate postings and settlement of all invoices, personal expenses and corporate credit cards.

·         Accountability for GRNI and Preliminary invoice levels.

  • To review and control debit balances on the Accounts Payable ledgers.
  • Review and approval of weekly Accounts Payable payment runs.
  • Responsible for the Debtor ledger ensuring invoices to customers are accurate and all overdue debt is chased for collection.
  • Performing monthly bad debt reviews.
  • Resolving Supplier / Customer queries.
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures applicable to the Accounts Payable / Receivable function.

·         Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as allocated for review.

·         Assist in the information gathering for KPI reporting.

·         Assist in quarterly and annual audits as and when required.

·         Assist in other month end tasks as allocated.

·         To perform other department ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

·         Experience of Accounts Payable and Receivable.

·         Experience of managing staff and running a small team.

·         Working knowledge of VAT implications on Sales invoices.

·         Identifying and implementing financial process improvements and operating within a strict financial control environment.

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications with more advanced features of Microsoft Excel being beneficial.

·         Experience of using accounting software.

·         Multi-currency experience would be beneficial.

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight reporting deadlines.
  • Team Player.
